1. ONLINE CREDIT CARD CONTRIBUTIONS: Go to the P.E.F. Israel Endowment Funds at CIS Donations/PEF and click the Donate Now button. The P.E.F., established in 1922 by Justice Brandeis, Rabbi Stephen Wise, and Robert Szold, has facilitated gifts of over $1 billion to registered charities in Israel. (PEF is a tax exempt public charity whose tax ID number is 13-6104086.)
2. CHECKS can be sent as Donor Advised (DA) gifts either through P.E.F. or the New Israel Fund.
- PEF: Include a completed Check Submission Form with your check noting Commanders for Israel’s Security as "Name of Charity" and 58-0601144 as "Amuta/Charity Number." All contributions must be in US dollars payable to “PEF Israel Endowment Funds, Inc." Standard and courier mailing addresses can be found on the Check Submission Form. - NIF: Checks should be made payable to “New Israel Fund” and mailed to New Israel Fund, PO Box 70358, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0358. Please write “donor-advised to Commanders for Israel's Security” in the check memo/cover letter/both.
